The 1st Activate Conference with the theme “Build to last” had participants from 14 nations and 12 German churches. The conference was a great mix of connecting, being inspired and growing personally with the goal of being activated for God’s purposes.
It was a time of connecting with God through lively worship, prophetic impulses and prayer for one another. Connecting with other Christians and leaders to meet new people and deepen existing relationships, share experiences of Jesus and church building, and encourage each other in ministry.
Impulses for leaders
We were inspired by sermons and workshops such as: The centrality of Christ, evangelism in the 21st century, dealing with stress, recognizing leader capacities, giving feedback, “Strengthen the soul of your leadership” “Jesus trains my hands” or “I am making all things new”. These impulses encouraged and gave inspiring thoughts and insights that helped people grow personally and challenged them to dream new things and to trust God that all things are possible with Him.
The prophetic prayer was also inspiring. A group of 3-4 people spent time listening to God for individuals. Many of the words were either a confirmation of what God had already said in their lives or were new impulses.
Activated for Jesus
The goal of the conference was to be activated, that Jesus builds His church through every Christian and that everyone with his or her unique personality and empowerment does his or her part to help people meet Jesus, experience Him and thus grow into the purpose of their lives!
